ABOUT EMMA
Hi, I'm Emma, founder of Root & Moss.
Before returning to holistic therapies, I spent more than eight years running my own digital marketing business as an SEO specialist, helping people get found online and attract more of the right clients to their websites.
When I came back to delivering treatments, I built Root & Moss myself. The brand, the website, the booking flow, the photography direction, the words on every page. No agency, no big team, just the principles I had spent years using for other people, applied to my own practice and supported by modern AI tools.
What I didn't expect were the messages. Therapists, facialists and wellness practitioners asking who had designed my site, who ran my social media, who wrote my copy. Most assumed I had hired an agency. I hadn't.
The more I replied, the more I noticed the same pattern. People who were brilliant at their craft, quietly stuck on the business side, caught between spending thousands they didn't have or trying to figure it all out alone.
Root & Moss Professional is my honest answer to those messages. I can't build a website for everyone who writes to me, but I can share exactly how I built mine, the thinking behind it, the tools I use and the AI workflows that make it possible to do this as a solo practitioner.
